Broadway Ambassadors Goes to Cuba

Bob Nederlander Jr., Stanley Browne, Marc Aronoff and
Nederlander Worldwide Events is proud to announce the upcoming
presentation of "Broadway Ambassadors" at the 14th annual Havana
Theatre Festival in Havana, Cuba. The Havana Theatre Festival
brings together an international array of performance companies for
seven days of theatre workshops, performances, and panel
discussions.
Sponsored by the Cuban National Council for the Performing Arts,
The Havana Theatre Festival describes its mission as an opportunity
to promote theatre as an art of "that continues to defend the
possibility of human exchange… A Theatre Festival that participates
in the needs of our culture."
Directed by Rob Evan (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Miserables,
Disney's Tarzan), Broadway Ambassadors is a full length performance
showcasing the many musical styles that make up the Broadway sound
book. Performers include Broadway stars Luba Mason (The Will Rogers
Follies, Chicago, How to Succeed In Business...), Capathia Jenkins
(Caroline or Change, The Look of Love), Norm Lewis (Porgy &
Bess, Side Show, The Little Mermaid),and Rob Evan.
Performances will take place at the historic Grand Theatre of
Havana November 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2011. In addition, artists from
the production will conduct several workshops and master classes
for students and performing arts professionals.
